On 17 September 2024, the NGO Forum on Cambodia (NGOF), in collaboration with Transparency International Cambodia (TIC) and the Cambodian Agricultural Workers Federation (CAWF), with technical and financial support from Oxfam and the Swedish government’s Diakonia, organized a multi-stakeholder dialogue on sustainable trade and value chains in the banana and rubber sectors in Cambodia, attended by 37 representatives from relevant departments, civil society organizations, and employers, 13 of whom were women.
The dialogue aimed to provide an opportunity for discussion and action to implement fiscal policy accountability, including responsible taxation and investment, supply chain law, and sustainable prices in the banana and rubber industries in Cambodia. To exchange knowledge, experiences, good practices, studies, and relevant multi-stakeholder dialogue on: Fiscal policy accountability to support sustainable supply chains and value chains in the banana and rubber industries in Cambodia.
