2nd Training for Community on Advocacy

In collaboration with the Community Legal Education Center (CLEC), the NGO Forum on Cambodia (NGOF) successfully organized the 2nd Training for Community on Advocacy which held from 21-22 September 2022 at Regency Angkor Hotel, Siem Reap province.

There were 27 participants (5 women) as community representatives of land dispute, indigenous people and community protected area from various 23 communities, located in 12 provinces.

As a result, they were better understanding the issues, root causes of land and resource disputes, information and collection methodology, and report writing for using as evident-based dialogue.

Moreover, communities committed to disseminate their knowledges to their community members, to improve their participatory dispute reports, and to develop a strategic plan for resolution through dialogue with local, provincial and national authorities, private sector and other stakeholders.

NDC 3.0 Consultation Workshop in Siem Reap
On March 19, 2025, NGO Forum on Cambodia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and supported by OXFAM, HEKS|EPER, and the French Embassy, hosted a high-impact NDC 3.0 consultation workshop at Angkor Paradise Hotel, Siem Reap. 🔥 Key Takeaways: ✅ Mitigation: Promote renewable energy, waste management, and stricter environmental regulations. ✅ Adaptation: Enhance healthcare, sanitation, infrastructure, and livelihoods. ✅ Enabling Environment: Strengthen education, governance, and sustainable practices. 📊 42 participants (25 males, 14 females, and 3 LGBTIQ+) from Pursat, Battambang, Siem Reap, Banteay Meanchey, and Kampong Thom joined the discussion. 🌱🌍 Workshop: Preliminary Results from Regional Consultations for Inputs to Cambodia's Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) Phase 3 📅 March 28, 2025 | 📍 Himawari Hotel, Phnom Penh The NGO Forum on Cambodia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, hosted a crucial workshop to present the preliminary results and key takeaways from regional consultations for Cambodia’s NDC 3.0. 👥 Around 90 participants (30 women) joined the event, including H.E. Kob Raly, Undersecretary of State and representative of H.E.
